✅ BSF Constable Tradesman Educational Qualification :
- Candidates should have class 10th pass or equivalent from a recognized Board/ University. With 2 Years work experience in relevant trades OR
- 1 Year Certificate course from Industrial Training Institute of Vocational Institute with at least One Year experience in the trade OR
- 2 Years Diploma from Industrial Training Institute in the trade or similar trade.
✅ BSF Constable Tradesman Age Limit :
- Minimum Age : 18 Years
- Maximum Age : 23 Years
- Age Limit as on : 01 August 2021
- Relaxation in the upper age limit will be applicable as per Government Rule (03 yers for OBC, 05 Years for SC / ST, additional 10 years for PwD etc).
✅ BSF Constable Tradesman Salary / Pay Scale :
- Constable Tradesman in BSF is 7th Pay Matrix Level 3 Post and carries the pay scale of Rs. 21,700/- To Rs. 69,100/-

✅ BSF Physical Standards Test (PST) :
• Height : Male =167.5 Cms and Female = 157 Cms
• Chest( For male only) : 78-83 cm
▶️ For SC/ ST/ Adivasis :
• Height : Male =162.5 Cms and Female = 155 Cms
• Chest (For male only) : 76-81 cm
▶️ For Candidates of Hilly Area :
• Height : Male =165 Cms and Female = 150 Cms
• Chest( For male only) : 78-83 cm
✅️ Physical Efficiency Test (PET) :
- For Males –5 Kilo meter Race in 24 Minutes
- For Females -1.6 Kilo meter Race in 8 Minutes 30 Seconds
✅️ BSF Written Exam Pattern :
- The Constable Tradesman written exam is based on OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) system.
- The written test comprises 100 questions each for 1 mark.
- Each part will carry 25 questions/marks.
- The question paper will be bilingual i.e. in Hindi and English.
- The exam duration is 2 hours i.e. 120 minutes.
