BSF Head Constable RO & RM Age Limit : Minimum Age Required : 18 Years Maximum Age Limit: 25 Years Age Limit as on : 19 September 2022 Relaxation in the upper age limit will be applicable as per Government Rule (03 years for OBC, 05 Years for SC / ST, additional 10 years for PwD etc).

BSF Head Constable RO & RM Qualification Details : Head Constable (Radio Operator) Candidates should have passed Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board. Two years ITI Certificate in Radio and Television/ Electronics/ Computer & Programming Assistant/ Data Preparation & Software/ General Electronics/ Data Operator from a recognized Institute. OR Candidates should have passed Intermediate or 12th standard or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with aggregate 60% marks in PCM subjects. Head Constable (Radio Mechanic) Candidates should have passed Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board. Two years ITI Certificate in Radio and Television/ Electronics/ Computer & Programming Assistant/ Data Preparation & Software/Electrician /Fitter / or Info Technology & Electronics System maintenance/ Comn Equipment Maintenance/ Computer Hardware/ Network Technician/ Mechatronics / Data Entry Operator from a recognized Institute. OR Candidates should have passed Intermediate or 12th standard or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with aggregate 60% marks in PCM subjects.

BSF Head Constable RO & RM Selection Process : Written Exam Physical Efficiency and Measurement Test (PE&MT) Skill Test (Typing, Steno, etc.) Document Verification Medical Examination

BSF Head Constable RO & RM Physical Standard Test (PST) : For Male Candidates:  Height: 168 cms Chest: 80 cms (85 cms after expansion) Weight: Proportionate to Height and Age as per medical standards. For Female Candidates: Height: 157 cms Chest: Not Applicable Weight: Proportionate to Height and Age as per medical standards. BSF Head Constable RO & RM Physical Efficiency Test (PET) :  For Male Candidates:  1.6 Km Race to be completed in 6 .5 minutes. Long Jump – 11 Feet in three chances. High Jump – 3.5 Feet in three chances. (Ex-servicemen and BSF Serving personnel are exempted from Physical Efficiency Test). For Female Candidates: 800 Mtrs race to be completed in 04  minutes. Long Jump – 09 Feet in three chances. High Jump – 3 Feet in three chances.

BSF Head Constable RO & RM Salary Details : Pay Matrix Level-4, Pay Scale Rs. 25500- Rs. 81100/- (as per 7th CPC) and Other Allowances as admissible to Central Government Employees.
